arrrrgh, this was my brothers problem, i never read it through after writing it to e-bay....Customer concern: Please remove this strike from my account, i have e-mailed 'loopholerice' and given the reason why i am unable to buy the frame and have apologised. This person does not seem to take situations such as mine into account. To explain further: I bid on a JC - Kink frame, unfortunately i lost that auction, to console myself i bid on the next best frame (the item in dispute) and won. I was feeling good about the win but at the same time i felt dejected and resigned myself to the fact that there was a frame out there that i had just lost - cheaper and better. But all is fair, you win some you lose some. Just before paying for the item i had won, i refreshed my e-mail inbox to find that the person who won the JC kink frame had pulled out - reasons unknown. The e-mail asked if i still wanted to buy the item at that price, off course i was happy to accept, however... i now had a dilema, should i really take the frame i had hoped for and risk upsetting a fellow ebayer, especially if it saves me £60 on an item that is far superior to the one i had just won. I think the answer in this situation is a resounding, "hell yes". This may seem slightly awful and ever so slightly inconsiderate towards 'loopholerice', but then i stopped to think about the situation. The JC Kink frame had an ex-winner, surely the seller was upset about his loss in revenue at the time, but being the good soul he is, he paused for a second and most likely thought, "Gee whiz, i had almost forgotten, other bidders existed - perhaps if i offer the frame to them at thier maximum bid price they will take it." I know what you are thinking, your most likely thinking "that's obvious, anyone would have done that." Regretfully, there is one person out there who never thought of this, perhaps i should have realised and offered support to 'loopholerice', being the person i am, i thought "Maybe he just needs a little bit longer than most, it'll be okay." This is where the problems occured, it seems in this case, i could have offered as many tips as possible, i don't think anything would have helped. This person then opened a dispute, topping it all of ebay (You guys) have suspended my account... Fantastic, now i have an item that i may/may not have won. I cannot get access to my account winning details and therefore, if i have won the item i was bidding on, will not be able to pay - possibly resulting in another dispute. In conclusion, i request as per my first paragraph, please remove the strike from my account, please e-mail 'loopholerice' my apologies as his conclusion to our personal dispute has left me nothing but disdain for his character, further transactions with this e-bayer will surely be non-existent as 'loopholerice' now leaves a bad taste in my mouth. sorry for ranting SPHRambo.
